Our story
Founded on one frustration.
Researchers were paying premium prices for material that arrived with no certificate, no batch reference, and no way to tell one shipment from the next. PepLair Research — formerly The PepLair — started as the supplier we wanted to buy from.
That means a short, deliberate catalogue rather than a warehouse of everything; long-standing supplier relationships rather than whoever quotes lowest this month; and an independent laboratory report attached to every batch we list.
It is not complicated. It is just uncommon.

Transparency
Batch numbers, purity figures and test methods are published as they came back from the lab. If a number is not on the certificate, we do not claim it.

The same compound from the same supplier, batch after batch, so a protocol run in March behaves the way it did in January.

We buy from a short list of manufacturers we have worked with long enough to predict. New suppliers are trialled before anything of theirs is listed.
Test
Every batch goes to an independent laboratory for identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC — before it appears in the catalogue, not after a complaint.
Publish
The certificate is filed against the batch number printed on the vial and stays available in the library for as long as the batch is in circulation.
